Workspace → Appearance & view simplification is the settings page behind the workspace's Options drawer. It is served under the same rollout flag as the workspace, and Workspace options… in the tree's Tools section opens it.

Defaults

Setting	What it does
Starting lens	Schemas, Paths or Combined — "Applied now, and whenever you open the workspace in a new session…"
Inspector width	A slider from 280 to 420 pixels in steps of 10; 320 by default

View simplification

The same five toggles as the Options drawer — "Take chrome away without changing what the workspace shows":

• Hide ⌘K starter chip
• Compact tree
• Calm status bar
• Minimal canvas chrome
• Focus mode

Back to workspace returns to the canvas. The preferences are yours, saved on your device; the shared Preferences pane (Ctrl / ⌘+,) holds theme, density and font size for the whole studio.
