Route/login

The Suite uses your Apiome account. There is nothing separate to register for: the session you start on the main app is the session the studio reads, and signing out of either signs you out of both.

From the main app

  1. Sign in at main.apiome.dev as usual — email and password, or one of the sign-in providers your installation offers. The Apiome user guide covers accounts, providers and two-factor authentication.
  2. Open the Designer entry in the top bar, or a Suite card on the launcher. The studio opens already signed in.

Straight to the studio

Opening a studio page while signed out — suite.apiome.dev or any deep link into it — sends you to the main app's sign-in page with a return address. After you sign in you land on the page you asked for. A link whose return address points outside the Suite is ignored, and you land on the Suite home instead.

On a single-origin installation, where the studio and the main app share one address, the studio shows its own form instead: Sign in to Apiome Studio — "Use your Apiome account credentials." It takes an email and password only. If your account has two-factor authentication enrolled, the form says so and asks you to sign in through the main app.

Your session

  • The session lasts 30 days and refreshes while you use it. "Loading session…" appears for a moment on every studio page while it is read.
  • When a session ends, the studio sends you back to the main app's sign-in with a return address.
  • Sign out is in the profile menu at the top right (View Profile, Preferences, Sign out). It ends the session everywhere and lands on the main app's sign-in page.
  • The studio can require two-factor authentication for a page (Two-factor authentication required, with a link to Enable two-factor authentication on your profile). No page requires it today.

Tenants

The studio works inside one tenant at a time — the one your session is scoped to. The tenant switcher in the top bar (Switch tenant, "Search tenants…") changes it, and an Admin badge marks the tenants you administer. With no tenant selected the studio shows No Tenant Selected and a Choose a Tenant button; with no tenants at all: "You don't have access to any tenants yet. Ask a tenant administrator to invite you, then reload the Designer."

If sign-in works on the main app but the studio asks you to sign in again, the two deployments are not paired — see Authentication in the administration guide.
