Insights — "Metrics, logs, traces, data residency, usage, spend and budgets for this environment." — is the observability surface for the production lane. The page says no collector is attached: "Every figure on this surface is modelled from recorded policy rather than measured from traffic…"; spend is "modelled, not metered… none of them is a charge"; and residency placements are "declared intents, not enforced controls".

Retention, residency, export destinations, budgets and live tail are reserved to the Platform operator role; "reading what this lane is doing is never gated." The Slate dashboard's bandwidth card links here on the delivery dimension.
