Navigation Structure — "Configure the sidebar and top-nav of the generated documentation site…" Without a scope: "Choose a project and version to configure its portal navigation."

Global options

Four switches, all on by default: Search bar, Version switcher dropdown (configured on the Version Switcher), Language selector, On-this-page anchor links.

The defaults are Getting Started, Authentication, Endpoints, Schemas, Guides and Releases, plus a disabled custom Changelog. Each row has an include checkbox, a selector and an edit pencil; Move up and Move down reorder them. Editing opens the title — and, for a custom section, its type and address — with Done, Cancel and, for custom sections, Remove.

Add section or Add custom section (MDX or external link) takes a Title, a Type (MDX page or External link) and a Path or URL. The form refuses an empty title, an MDX path that is not site-relative or contains .., and an external link that is not http(s).

The Live navigation preview shows the result. The page counts beside the default sections are placeholders, not read from the catalog.

Save is disabled in this preview — "Saving portal navigation needs the Slate site API…" — so the structure lasts for the session.
